School Visits

Our organization runs Friday Prayers and Weekend Islamic Education facilities, and we pride our self on maintaining traditional standards of practice that not only enhance spiritual empowerment, but also facilitate a quality of service and performance that is unique in our ever changing cultural society.

We welcome local schools, both primary and secondary, or other educational institutes and sectors of our community, to visit our Friday Service or Weekend School to learn more about the Muslim faith, the work we do, and the services we provide to the local residents of Havering and Brentwood.

We do also offer the option of an Imam visiting your school or institute to deliver a presentation about Islam, and this would be catered to suit the audience. One session can be up to 45 minutes, and can include selected parts from the following list:

*An explanation about specific topics such as the 5 Pillars, How Islam Began, Halal & Haram Laws, Islam & Christianity & Judaism etc.

*A description of the life of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh), his mission, his personality, challenges he faced and overcame.

*Display of the Quran & translation, and other important Islamic texts in Arabic and English with explanation.

*A chance to try traditional Islamic perfumes made with oils with an explanation of their importance.

*Display of various Islamic artifacts with an explanation of their purpose and importance.

*An explanation on the Islamic perspective of marriage and relationships.

*A talk about the revelation of the Qur’an and its miracles.
