Counselling and Mediation
Many people may try to avoid seeking help for their personal relationship matters, and often in the illusion of preserving their ‘family honour’. However, addressing a problem properly with the correct people is better than ignoring it. Mediation can often be better than ignoring a problem, or taking legal action which can be extremely expensive, stressful, and most likely result in total loss of ties. The C&M service is confidential, and is led by an Imam or person authorised by him, and carried out in light of the Quran & Sunnah, to help parties resolve differences amicably, as long as both parties are sincere in wanting to resolve their problems. Imam Sahib has a lot of experience in mediation and reconciliation of many troubled or broken relationships.

Between Spouses:
More and more people are having marital problems with so many young individuals unhappy about issues and struggling to deal with them within short periods after their marriage. Unfortunately, many of these problems are ignored or hidden away from discussion, which can easily fuel future frustration or resentment, and in many cases lead to devastating results.
Contact:
To apply for mediation, two separate copies of the below form will need to be completed in full by each of the parties in conflict, or at least by one party to initiate the process. If a request is made on the form, we may contact the other party on your behalf to inform them of your application for mediation. Forms are to be sent to us by email.
Initial assessment on receipt of the application is free and thereafter the board will decide if fees apply and if so how much.
