Teaching Zakat Calculation To Children & Parents
Use of Hans Wehr dictionary
All Alimiyyah Students will be required to purchase the Hans Wehr Dictionary of Modern Written Arabic which is provided by the Madrasah to support their study of the Arabic languagae. This is the currently the best version available on the market for advanced Students learning Arabic.
Alimiyyah Students will start the lesson each day by reading a portion of the Qur’aan, revising Surahs and Tajweed rules.
Books will be taught using traditional learning methods as used in religious seminaries. Students will have group study time in class to support each other.
The Madrasah emphasises Islamic ettiquette and manners as a key to success.
There is a 15 minutes break during the session, so Students should attend with a suitable healthy snack and drink/water (not fizzy).
Students must bring their own stationary in a pencil case which should include a pen, pencil, rubber, sharpner, ruler and preferably coloured pens. The Madrasah no longer provides stationary.
There is a final exam once all syllabus books have been completed, and an awards ceromany once a year. We strive to make sure all students progress and gain the confidence to succeed.
All students must wear Madrasah uniform of any suitable colour jubbah and head gear that are simple in design.
