Hornchurch Cultural & Youth Society (HCYS)

There are many Muslim families moving into the area of Hornchurch and so HCYS was initiated in 2015 as a sub-branch of ECYS to make provisions available for worship and learning within the area.

HCYS has organised Jumuah Salaah and Weekday Madrasah for a long period at the Ardleigh Green Community House. Qualified Imams lead the Salaah and taught in the Madrasah. In-shaa-Allah تعالى, with the help of Allah تعالى these facilities will resume again soon.

Imam Sahib is very familiar with this area, living nearby, and has frequented this area since a young child. As a student of knowledge he has taught Hadith lessons for ladies in the area as well as to residents. He has many students in Hornchurch, however, the best place of learning is no doubt the Madrasah, and HCYS will always strive to in-shaa-Allah تعالى provide the best facilities to help support the people and youngsters, Aameen.
